With the release of the new update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it seems that some players are still struggling with how to get the coveted coffee shop. While the process may seem daunting at first, this guide will hopefully clear up any confusion and help you get your very own café up and running in no time!
To get the coffee shop in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will need to buy a Nook’s Cranny from Nook’s Cranny. Once you have Nook’s Cranny, you will need to buy the following items from Timmy and Tommy:
-4 Coffee beans
-1 Sugar
-1 Milk
-1 Clay
Then, all you need to do is craft a coffee machine using the clay, and place it inside Nook’s Cranny. Finally, once you have placed the coffee machine inside Nook’s Cranny, you will need to wait for Work Days (Monday-Saturday) for the shop to officially open.
Why can’t I get the cafe in Animal Crossing?
Brewster and his cafe, The Roost, will appear on the island as part of the museum, and as with other attractions, will need to be unlocked first. To unlock Brewster in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you must first visit Blathers in the museum. Blathers will tell you that he needs someone to take care of the museum’s café, and will ask if you’re interested in the job. Once you accept, Brewster will appear in the museum the next day.
Brewster and The Roost are finally in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but you can’t just access them after the game has updated. You’ll need to earn the coffee shop by completing certain tasks, and then wait for it to open. This game is all about patience, after all.
How do you unlock Brewster’s ACNH
Kapp’n is a character in the Animal Crossing series who first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. He is a green alligator who wears a white and red striped shirt. He is the captain of the S.S. Anne, a boat that takes the player to Tortimer Island. He also runs the Happy Home Academy in New Leaf.
Kapp’n will take you on an exclusive boat tour to a mystery island once you have spent 1,000 Nook Miles. Once you arrive on the island, you will need to search for Brewster the pigeon. Once you find him, speak to him for a short piece of dialogue and he will give you a special Gyroid Fragment gift.
If you want to open The Roost in your town, you’ll need to speak to Blathers about it. He’ll tell you that Brewster is missing, and you’ll need to find him first. If Blathers doesn’t mention Brewster, it’s because you haven’t contributed enough to the museum yet. You need to have donated at least one of each type of item before he’ll bring it up.

Do you need 3 stars to get Brewster?

For those of you who haven’t heard, there’s a free update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf that adds a bunch of new features, including the ability to open up your own café. In order to do this, you need to find Brewster and deliver Blather’s message to him.
You can find Brewster on the new island tours that Kap’n is providing. Just make sure that your island is rated at least 3 stars before you go looking for him.

Brewster will only visit your island if it has a three-star rating or higher. If your island doesn’t have a three-star rating, you’ll need to work on improving it by completing goals and tasks. Once you’ve achieved a three-star rating, Brewster will start appearing on your island.
How do you unlock Brewster to go coffee
Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to order to-go coffee at the counter from now on. The following day, you can make either purchase at The Roost—to-go coffee or coffee sitting at the counter.
Brewster and The Roost can be unlocked in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by meeting the following requirements:
Have a 3* Island
Have unlocked KK
Have upgraded the Museum up to the Art Exhibit
Have donated at least one Fossil, Fish, Bug, and Art Piece
Be the main owner of the island (not a secondary player on the same Switch)
How do you unlock Blathers Cafe?
In order to unlock Brewster’s cafe in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you first need to speak to Blathers, the museum curator. He will task you with finding and convincing Brewster to come and run the cafe. To do this, you will need to speak to Kapp’n at the pier, who will point you in the right direction. Once you find Brewster on the island, simply return to Blathers and he will be able to unlock the cafe for you.
You can find Brewster on mystery island bytalking to Blathers. He will tell you that Brewster is dressing up as an explorer on the island and to look for him. When you find Brewster, he will say that he will come to your island soon.
Does Lottie have a crush on Digby
Tom Nook is one of the most popular characters in the Animal Crossing series. He is a tanuki, or Japanese raccoon dog, who owns and runs the local convenience store, Nook’s Homes. In the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer game, he helps the player design homes for the animals living in their town. In the Animal Crossing: New Leaf game, he oversees the Happy Homes Showcase, where players can show off their home designs to other players. Lottie has a crush on him, but he’s pretty oblivious.
The Café is a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious food and drink. It’s unlocked along with the Restaurant after you complete 12 vacation homes. Drop by the Café to indulge in some delicious food and drink.
How do you trigger cooking in ACNH?
In order to cook, you will need to purchase the “Be a Chef!” kitchen furniture item, which will come with a recipe and the necessary ingredients. Once you have those, you’ll be able to cook your meal!
Brewster will only offer to store your gyroids in his back room if he knows you well. He’s a kind villagers and wants to help out however he can!
Warp Up
The coffee shop is a public works project that can be built in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. To unlock the coffee shop, you must first purchase the shop permit from the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services for 3,000 Nook Miles. Once you have the permit, you can then choose to build the coffee shop or place it in your town.
There are a few key things to remember when trying to get the coffee shop in ACNH. First, make sure you have the correct permits from Nook’s Cranny. Next, speak to Tom Nook about your plans for the shop and what type of coffee you want to sell. Finally, follow his instructions to complete the construction of the shop.
