After downloading the free 20 update, players will need to search for Brewster in order to deliver Blather’s message about opening up a new café. You can find Brewster on the special, new island tours Kap’n is providing residents. NOTE: Your island must be rated at least 3 stars to unlock Brewster and The Roost!
1. Once you have a three-star rating, invite Brewster to your island by speaking to him at the café in Main Street.
2. Wait for him to arrive, and then talk to him again to get him to set up shop.
3. He’ll ask you to find five coffee beans. These can be found by shaking trees or by trading with villagers.
4. Once you have the beans, give them to Brewster and he’ll start making coffee for you!
What triggers Brewster?
In order to unlock Brewster and the Roost in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you need to have a 3* Island and have unlocked KK. Upgrading the Museum up to the Art Exhibit and donating at least one Fossil, Fish, Bug, and Art Piece will also be required.
