Kaneki and Touka’s reunion was a long time coming, and it was definitely worth the wait! The two of them have a lot of history, and it was great to see them finally reconnect. The episode was full of emotion, and it was clear that both Kaneki and Touka still care deeply for each other. It’s great to see them back together, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

In the end, he’s at the mercy of Arima—the reaper of the CCG. The story in depth, according to the manga: Kaneki leaves the coffee shop/ghoul safehouse (Anteiku) to form his own squad of ghouls. He quickly realizes that he’s in over his head and is forced to rely on Arima for help. This ultimately leads to Kaneki’s downfall and his eventual death.

Arima Kishou was the One Eyed King. He took the title because even though he was a half-human (physically human but with the abilities/senses of a ghoul, excluding the kagune), he was stronger than any ghoul, even Eto.

Kaneki is certainly an interesting character. He starts out as a shy and introverted young man, but slowly becomes more and more violent and aggressive as the series progresses. This transformation is definitely intriguing, and it’ll be interesting to see how Kaneki develops over the course of the series. I definitely think he has potential to be a great anti-hero, and I’m looking forward to seeing how his story unfolds.

Despite the differences in the anime and manga, they end the same way. After defeating “Dragon,” Kaneki is swept up in a flood as the huge kakuja monster collapses. Luckily, he’s saved by Ayato off-screen, and the next we see of him is in the final chapter, happier than he has ever been.

It’s a touching moment for fans of the original series, and a satisfying conclusion to this story arc.
