Chappy’s Restaurant in downtown Arlington Heights closed its doors for good on December 31st, 2017 after 35 years in business. The restaurant was a family-owned business, started by Arlington Heights native Charles “Chappy” Chapman. Chapman named the restaurant after himself and ran it with his wife and three daughters. The restaurant was known for its American comfort food and its wide selection of beers on tap. Chappy’s was a popular spot for locals and was always busy during lunch and dinner hours.
